Bahamas Trip

June 30, 2009

All 10 of us arrived in Fort Lauderdale to board the Majesty Cruise Line for an overnight cruise to Nassau Bahamas!  Praise God for the 15 passenger van that was donated a few weeks prior to our departure!

The food on the ship was incredible!

The Wyndham was the most gorgeous beach front resort that we had ever seen!  We all couldn't believe that Dr. Miles Monroe's church had donated funds for us to stay a week at an ocean front resort! 

Bahamas Faith Ministries Youth Conference was truly life transforming for all of the girls.  Each of them came home with more confidence in Christ, more love in their heart, and a deep sense of the their value in Christ.

After church on Sunday Bernadette - a member of Bahamas Faith Ministries planned a tour of the city and prepared a huge thanksgiving dinner for all of us! This was such a blessing to us as we had been rationing baloney and cheese sandwiches!

Snorkeling Adventures donated 11 tickets for us to go out on the ocean

This adventure took all of our girls out of their comfort zone where they had to trust God to protect them in the ocean.  It really built their confidence in Christ!

Back on the Majesty after a powerful life changing trip to the Bahamas!  God certainly amazed us with giving us the most extravagant trip of our lives!  Each day was filled with so much of His love, His joy, His blessings, and so much more!  We stand amazed and are humbled that God would bless us so much!
