We want to thank you for all your support and prayers over the past 5 years. Our "family" has grown so much from the time we started with a group of elementary students and now we are so blessed to see our High Schoolers continuing to walk with God and remain faithful especially as they face many hard choices everyday.
This year we have been so encouraged by the desire of all the teenagers to attend church 2 times a week, participate in Bible study, and mentor the younger kids. We have grown so much that even with our 15 passenger van and taking two trips, we are still unable to take all the kids who would like to go to church with us.

and 14 teens attend youth group on Wednesdays |

YWAM - Service |

 Youth With A Mission a team of passionate 18-30 year olds who travel around the world sharing the Gospel and helping the local churches were such a blessing to us during October.
YWAM repaired our roof, drawers, and screen. They also helped us with our spring cleaning of the shed, yard work, tree trimming, and even tutoring. But for us the most incredible gift was the friendships that they made with many of our children/teens.
This was such a blessing to us as we have so many teenagers coming to the house every week for homework help, dance practice, film class, bible study, and so much more! We are seeing such an amazing difference in all of our teenagers this year and we thank God daily for how He using our kids to draw others into His Kingdom.

YWAM - Dinner |

YWAM also helped us to launch our new Saturday night dinner for all of the children, teens, and mothers who attend church with us on Saturday nights. Our vision is to build a strong "family" by sitting down at our house for dinner together.
Statistics show that 90% of the kids who join gangs do so because they are looking for a sense of family, a place to fit in, and someone to really care for them. Our prayer is that our kids will know their value in Christ and that they are a part of the best gang on earth-God's family!
The Saturday night dinner has been such a huge success as we have had over 35 children/teens every week. It is incredible to see how God is using it to unite the hearts of the kids one with another.

Louie's Story
Earlier this year, Louie was put in jail for being an accomplice to a robbery. During that time he gave his life to God and determined that he was going to change. But upon his release it was hard as the influences in his life were pulling him back into his old life. But then, he started working with UIH and truly caught a vision of what God has for his life. Now after spending time with YWAM, he is thinking about becoming a pastor and praying about going on a short term mission project with YWAM this summer! Praise God! |

The Holy Ghost
Wiener Roast
For the past 4 years we have been blessed to participate in this amazing Harvest Event. Every year the kids & teens look forward to going rock climbing, horseback riding, hay rides, old-time photos, and this year bull riding. There is a a variety of events for all ages and plenty of candy and food!
It was such a blessing to be able to take 41 children and teens to this amazing event!
