© Report cards just came out and all of the kids who come on a regular basis are either on the Honor Roll or earned Most Improved Awards! © The women’s Bible study is growing and we have just started a 7 month WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE to see who can be the Biggest Loser!

We have had the privilege of blessing many people this past month with donated items.

3 families were blessed with couches 2 families were blessed with computer desks 2 families received a computer 2 families received twin mattresses 1 family received a king size bed and mattress 1 family received a washer and dryer 1 family received a television 1 family received a microwave Many families were blessed with food and clothing
We want to thank all who have donated items as well as those who contributed financially to help these needs. We would also like to thank JoAnne for allowing us to use her truck, and Reidell & Etta for helping us move the items.
Many people have felt the love of Christ through these generous gifts that we have developed a database of items needed. In this way, as items become available we can deliver them to those most in need to receive them. If you have anything that you would like to donate, please contact us.

God has done many miracles and we are grateful to be a part of seeing the awesome transformation that has taken place over the past year.
3 Single mothers living in Twin Canal · Sheri has been sober for 13 months and has a full-time job. · Dee has signed up to attend Tidewater Community College and desires to get her masters degree in counseling. · Tunika has been attending nursing classes at Sentara.
Lateisha Natalie Angela Alexis
Awesome kids reports · Alicia, a 3rd grader, received the following note from her teacher, “Alicia is showing improvement in her subject areas. It is obvious that she spends time at home on her schoolwork. Thank you for the fine work that you are doing with her after school.” · Alexis earned most improved & perfect attendance awards. · Nene received Honor Roll, citizenship award, & most improved. · Lateisha raised all of her grades and is now on Honor Roll. · Natalie and Angela received Honor Roll. · Larry said, “I could be a spokesperson for Higher Learning because I was getting a 1.8, and since I’ve been coming here I am now getting a 3.2!”
We are really excited to share with you how much the children have been blessed by their personal prayer partners. Twelve children currently participate in the program, but there are many others who would love to be involved. If you are interested in becoming a prayer partner, please contact us.
