Scripture of the Month

Luke 6:48

Give, and it will be given

to you.  A good measure,

pressed down,

shaken together

and running over, will be poured into your lap.  For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Vision Statement

To unite with churches and other Christian organizations to totally transform inner city communities through the love of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Partners

So many of our children have been blessed this past month with letters from their prayer partners!  We wanted to say thank you for your love, care, support and prayers for all of the children.  They have felt your love and sincerely look forward to hearing from you.

We wanted to share with you one of the awesome testimonies that happened when Milo received $100 for Christmas from his prayer partner.  Milo felt extremely blessed, as he has never had such a large amount of money.  The first thing he did was to give $10 to Jesus and then he made a card for his mother that said, “Because you give lots to us all the time, I wanted to give lots to you.”  Then he put $50 in the card and said that he wanted to make sure that he gets something for his 2 little brothers.  It made all of us cry to see how much he wanted to share!

Our New Puppy Arrives

As many of you know our precious little puppy died last month from a heart attack and it was very  difficult  for  all  of  the  children.    Death    is

always difficult to explain and especially loosing a two-month-old puppy, but God brought us the most amazing little bundle of joy!

His name is Prince Isaac of Cambridge (Prince for short) and he is a BISHONE FRISE. Prince was donated by Sandy Disterhaupt in Foley, Missouri.  We want to send out a special thanks to her and

her family for what a huge blessing she has been to all of us!

Everyone has been talking about the formation of the UIH ARMY and how it’s impacting the entire ministry.  The 15 soldiers who have enlisted are maturing in Christ, gaining a spirit of excellence, developing discipline and learning the power of teamwork.

Requirements to enlist as a Private in the UIH ARMY:

·        Must have received 15 attendance point

·        Must be able to recite Philippians 4:13 and John 14:6.

After they have attended church 4 weeks in a row, enlistees are allowed to challenge the next rank requirements which would includes Bible Knowledge testing, service projects, and a series of scripture memory verses.

Enlistees were also given the opportunity at 2nd Roll Call to enter the ARMY at a higher rank if they qualified.

Tanicia Johnson was awarded this prestigious honor, and at the 3rd Roll Call she was awarded her fatigues and given a special prayer journal where she records all of her daily devotional notes.

Tanicia will be pinned as a 2nd Lieutenant at the first of the year at a special pinning ceremony.  We are so proud of Tanicia and her desire to always represent Christ in the most excellent manner.  She is a leader among her peers and a prayer warrior even at the young age of 12.  She is like “Timothy” who strives to help others follow Christ in all circumstances.
