To unite with churches and other Christian organizations to totally transform inner city communities through the love of Jesus Christ.
December was the most incredible month. J God answered all of our prayers for over 70 children in Twin Canal.
We were amazed at the outpouring of God’s love during this Christmas season as every child received their specific Christmas wish – one girl even received a new bike! We cannot thank all of our volunteers enough who helped us pick up, wrap, and deliever all of the gifts.
We also want to thank Calvary Revival Church and Closer Walk Christian Fellowship for sponsoring over 50 children. Additionally we want to thank all of our supporters in California who sent remote control cars, footballs, CD players, and other toys -- all in time for the children to open a present from Jesus on Christmas morning.
What an amazing blessing to see the body of Christ unite in serving and meeting the needs of the children!
United In Him dance team was honored to be able to serve during the holidays by providing special gifts to the residents of Oakridge Nursing Home.
This was the first time that many of the girls had been inside a nursing home and it was somewhat of a shock to many of them when they first arrived. However, when they saw the smiles on the seniors’ faces and heard them clapping after they finished the praise dance, it filled them with such joy to be able to show the love of Christ to others who may not have the joy of Christmas in their hearts.
After the dance, the girls gave each of the seniors a stuffed animal and a plate of homemade cookies that they had worked very hard to prepare. Additionally the girls blessed the residents with a handmade Christmas card and told them, “We just want you to know that Jesus loves you.”
The girls are learning the joy of giving and that through Christ they can be a blessing to others wherever they go. Now instead of being concerned about eating the cookies they are asking who they can bless by giving them away. For kids growing up in a low-income housing project that truly is transformation!
