On March 26th BLOKheadz Ministry began the first of a series of outreaches focused on reaching the men and young boys in Twin Canal and the surrounding areas. The Rap Party was a huge success as Quinton Savage (“Q”) and the other members of the BLOKheadz began building relationships with the children and adults in Twin Canal.
We had 25 adults and 28 children who listened intently as Brother Q presented the Gospel, shared some of his testimony, and encouraged everyone to live their lives for Jesus. After both Q and Triumph ministered the Word through rap, we broke out into two groups - men and women - so that the BLOKheadz ministry could spend some time specifically addressing issues and potential future events with the adults and children.
The entire outreach was tremendous as God moved powerfully on the hearts of many men and women who had never attended an outreach prior to that time.
This month the LORD blessed us abundantly with a truck. We are excited about the potential that we will have when the truck is repaired as we will be able to bless many of the residents with donated items. Presently we are unable to receive at this time, as we needed a vehicle to pick them up and deliver them.
Currently we have a list of items that residents in Twin Canal need such as table and chairs, couches, dressers, and many other items which we will be able to supply once these trucks are up and running properly.
On APRIL 16th we will be partnering with BLOKheadz ministry and Regent University Student Alumni Ambassadors in hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament & outreach in Twin Canal.
BLOKheadz ministry will be providing the rappers and other Christian artists for the event and Brother James Taylor (JusBoogie) will be facilitating the basketball tournament and giving the final message.
Please pray that many lives will be transformed and that both men and women will not only be saved, but that they will desire to be discipled, attend church, and break free from every bondage!
