To unite with churches and other Christian organizations to totally transform inner city communities through the love of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel.” This month we took the message of hope to the streets of Norfolk as we joined with Calvary Revival Church in a community wide outreach. On the day of the outreach we loaded 3 vans to capacity and traveled from Virginia Beach to Norfolk where God moved powerfully in the hearts of the adults as well as the children.
Our girls’ dance team united with a local Christian Rap group, Son of Jacob to proclaim that Jesus is the ONLY ONE who can bring transformation and healing to a world that is desperately in need of a Savior. Prior to the event, the girls (2-5th graders) spent many hours each week practicing and praying that God would touch the hearts of the people.
These girls have seen the power of the LOVE of Jesus and how it can bring healing and hope in the most desperate situations. Even though they are very young, they know that God is able to do ANYTHING and that He can and will perform miracles for all who believe in Him.
It only takes the faith of a mustard seed to move mountains, and these young girls are believing God that He will heal the sick, raise the dead, provide shelter for the homeless, feed the poor, and literally transform all of Twin Canal so that the boys will no longer fight, the drug dealers will be put out of business, the people will desire to come to church, and that everyone will help their neighbor.
For the past three months we have been teaching in-home Bible studies and have seen God move so powerfully in the lives of two of the women who meet with us every Tuesday. We believe that God is raising these two women up for leadership in His Kingdom, and we are so excited to see to how they are daily applying God’s Word to their lives.
A couple of weeks ago we talked about having things in your home that were not of the LORD. This week one of the women said she threw away so many CD’s, videos, books and other items that as she put it, “had no business being in my home!”
As these two women have committed themselves to the LORD wholeheartedly, their children have started to radically change as well.
· One daughter spends countless hours in her room listening to praise music. (3rd grader) · Another daughter now is primarily concerned about lost souls going to heaven and how she can make a difference in the world through sharing the Gospel with others. (4th grader) · One son said at Bible study, “I don’t steal anymore because Jesus wouldn’t want me to treat other people like that!” He went on to tell about how each night he asks Jesus to place a “Wall of fire” around him so that one will be able to harm him. (5th grader)
Fear is a part of every child’s life when they grow up in a project where crime, drugs, alcohol, and violence are commonplace. Please remember to pray for the children and their families. Consider what your life would be like if you lived in a neighborhood where Domino’s won’t deliver and where police patrol every street corner. Everyone in Twin Canal needs Jesus, and we ask you to pray that God will penetrate the hearts of every individual who steps on that property that they too would come to know Jesus as their personal Savior.
Lives have been completely transformed through the power of Jesus Christ during the past 52 days!

All participants’ lives have been radically altered and will never be the same. Many have decided to adopt the modified version of the detox program, and others have decided to join class #2 that begins on April 29th.
God has moved powerfully in the lives of everyone in class #1 as they have sought His power to overcome the temptation from eating other foods.
