      United Fest

United Fest The first "United Fest" was a huge success!  We set up a small tent on the basketball court, and within 30 minutes there was a large group of men who gathered to play basketball.  About 30 adults attended the service along with 20 little ones.  Many of the 15-16 year old boys who refused to stay at the service chose to hang out across the street to listen to the message.   Many of the boys approached us afterwards to let us know that they liked the word.

JusBoogie              
James Taylor Jr. aka "JusBoogie" is a man of great influence.  He grew up in the projects of Harlem.  Many men even in this area know him from his "pre-Christ" days when he ruled the streets.  James was known as the Rock and was feared by many until 1997 when he surrendered his life to Christ.  Over the past 10 years, James has earned the favor and respect of pastors and leaders in the Christian realm through his powerful deliverance of the Word and his two Christian rap CD's.  But his humility has not allowed the fame to stand in his way of his calling - to take the message of the Gospel back to the streets.
